OgrePin sells handmade button pins at ogrepin.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, and who else handles it. Questions or requests go to [email protected].
What we collect
When you buy a pack
Checkout is run by Stripe. To take payment and ship your order we receive your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, what you ordered and how many. Your card or other payment details are entered on Stripe's page and handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
The buy links also carry a short tag showing which part of the page you clicked and how you arrived (for example, from Instagram). It helps us see which links lead to sales. It is not linked to any advertising profile.
When you sign up for pack alerts
We collect the email address you enter. The sign-up form is processed by Formspree, which passes it on to us.
When you email or message us
We receive whatever you send, along with your email address or account name.
When you visit the site
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and block malicious traffic.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
- Your browser remembers whether you turned the sound on and your volume setting. That stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not use advertising trackers, sell ad space or run third-party analytics. We do not set cookies of our own.
How we use it
- To process your payment, pack your order, buy a shipping label and deliver it
- To send order-related messages such as receipts, shipping updates and replies to your questions
- To email you about new packs, only if you signed up for alerts
- To prevent fraud, handle disputes and keep records required for tax and accounting
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Stripe, for payments, receipts and fraud checks
- Pirate Ship and USPS: your name and shipping address, to create a label and deliver your package
- Formspree: your email, if you sign up for pack alerts
- Cloudflare and Google Fonts, as described above
- People who help us pack and ship orders: only the name and address on your shipping label
- Authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed for taxes, accounting and handling any problems with an order. Pack-alert emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from pack alerts using the link in any alert email, or by emailing us.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to keep order records the law requires us to keep.
- Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals do not change anything here, because we do not track you across other sites.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Payments are handled by Stripe, and the site is served only over HTTPS. Order details are kept in the private accounts of the services above and are never published.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
